EPISODE DESCRIPTION

Atlanta Hawks organist Sir Foster is a favorite of fans all across the NBA. He swings by The Section 357 Show: The Ball Street Journal to discuss his unbelievable ride to the NBA All-Star Game, his musical inspirations, and the Atlanta Hawks’ surprising season.

It all started with a Craigslist posting. Sir Foster saw the Atlanta Hawks were looking for an organist, so he decided to apply to see what would happen. Fast forward to 2014 and he’s everybody’s favorite NBA musical attraction, adapting past and current hip-hop music into the sports experience at Philips Arena, while entertaining local Atlanta fans and TV viewers across the country.

Foster spends some time with us to talk about his path to this point in his career, how he got the call to work the NBA All-Star Game, and what he’s learned along the way. This is "Sports Without Borders"…
